Minto Three-Phase Conversion System Upgrades

AVEC was awarded funding from both the Denali Commission and Alaska Energy Authority for improvements to the power plant and tank farm including new automated switchgear, re-strapping the generators, installation of three new tier-rated engines with improved fuel efficiency, and upgrades to the recovered heat system.  The anticipated completion date is by the end of 2024.
